If you are required to present documentation originating from South Africa or you need to sign documentation for use in another country, it is likely that such documentation must first go through a process of being legalised, or otherwise commonly referred to as “authenticated”. The type of authentication or seal/endorsement required depends on the document type.
Sometimes, firms offer Notary services but do not have the resources to attend at the High Court to obtain an Apostille.
In this case, we are here to help you take the process over the finish line if you have already had your document Notarised. However, in order to avoid the trouble of having to instruct two different firms, it is recommended to do the entire process through our firm at a nominal fee. Follow the link to find out more [Notarising of Documentation and High Court Apostille] here.
We charge a nominal fee of R1,150.00 inclusive of VAT, which includes the following:-
- The drafting of a covering letter addressed to the Registrar of the High Court;
- Organising and collating the relevant documentation requiring a High Court Apostille;
- The attendance at the Western Cape High Court to deliver the previously Notarised document in order to obtain a High Court Apostille; and
- The attendance at the Western Cape High Court to collect the document, duly Apostilled by the Western Cape High Court.
Thereafter, you can collect your notarised and apostilled document from our reception.
