Emily-Wilkes-profileEmily Wilkes, a previous candidate attorney and later associate, joined Ashersons in May 2014.

She matriculated from Parel Vallei High School in 2007 and went on to graduate with a LLB degree from the University of Cape Town in 2013. Emily was admitted as an attorney in July 2016.

Emily has experience in litigation, family law, administration of estates, debt collection, commercial drafting and domestic violence proceedings.

Emily also has a special interest in social justice and the use of law in promoting and protecting equality.

Emily was admitted as an attorney of the High Court in June 2016 after having completed her articles.

Emily left Ashersons in August 2016 in order to complete a counselling course (as counselor) in Argentina, South America.

We wish her well for the future and look forward to her eventual return to practice!
